TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE TICKETS SALE FOR THE TORTURE MUSEUM

I. General provisions.

  1. The Terms and Conditions are intended for people purchasing entrance tickets to the Torture Museum via the website www.muzeumtortur.pl (hereinafter referred to as “Users”).
  2. The seller of the tickets is the ARANEUS COMPANY , hereinafter referred to as  Sebastian Wadycki, 142a Orkana Street, 58-307 Wałbrzych NIP: 886 230 78 58
  3. Each User is obliged to familiarise himself/herself with the content of these Rules and Regulations. The purchase of tickets is possible only after the acceptance of these Regulations which, at the same time, constitutes a statement and creates a legal obligation between the User and Araneus Sebastian Wadycki.
  4. All prices are in PLN and include VAT tax.
  5. In order to obtain a VAT invoice, it is necessary to provide correct data during the ticket ordering process. The invoice will be sent to the User’s e-mail address which was provided during the ordering process.
  6. Payment for tickets is provided by the internet service poland.payu.com, administrated by PayU S.A., ul. Grunwaldzka 186, 60-166 Poznań.
  7. The Araneus company shall not be liable for any consequences of the failure of the payment system referred to above.

II. Detailed rules for the online ticket sales.

  1. Type of ticket

o Normal Ticket in the price of 35 zlotys

o Reduced ticket in the price of 30 zlotys – for children up to the age of 18 (children under 3 enter free of charge), students up to the age of 26, PhD students up to the age of 35, pensioners and disabled people.

  1. The ticket purchase procedure consists of the following steps:
  • choice of type and amount of tickets,
  • paying for the tickets
  • providing invoice data ( name, address, tax number ) and contact details ( email address, phone numer)
  • acceptance of the Terms and Condition
  • confirmation of the order and sending the ticket electronically to the e-mail address which was provided by the User
  1. Each ticket has a unique QR code, is confidential and cannot be duplicated.

.A paper (printout) or an electronic ticket must be presented at the entrance to the exhibition.

Visitors who have purchased discounted tickets via the online sales system are required to show a document entitling them to the discount before entering the exhibition.

After the payment is credited, the ticket will be immediately and automatically sent to the buyer to the e-mail address provided during the order. In the event that the ticket does not reach the buyer, it is recommended to check the SPAM mailbox, and if the ticket is not there, the user is entitled to a refund of the full amount he paid for the purchase of the ticket.

III. Returns

  1. The refund of the price paid by the User is possible if the museum is not opened for reasons which lie with the  Araneus Company . To receive a refund, please, contact us by e-mail (kontakt@muzeumtortur.pl).
  2. Based on the Article. 38 points. 12 of the Consumer Rights Act, the right to withdraw from the contract concluded off-premises or at a distance does not apply to a consumer in relation to a contract for the provision of services related to entertainment, sports or cultural events, if the contract specifies the day or period of service provision.

IV. Complaints

  1. Any comments or complaints regarding online ticket sales should be sent by email to: kontakt@muzeumtortur.pl.
  2. Any complaints can be submitted no later than 7 days from the occurrence of the event giving rise to the complaint. Complaints will be resolved by the Araneus Company within 14 days from the date of receipt.
  3. The Araneus Company shall not be liable to the User for incorrectly processed payments. The User will be charged for the incorrectly processed transaction.

V. Final provisions

  1. The Terms and Conditions contain provisions in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights and the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services.
  2. All issues which are not provided for herein shall be determined by the provisions of the applicable Law, in particular by the Civil Code .
